Job summary

A facility management company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage facility management categories, ensure timely delivery of goods, and handle procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis and negotiation skills, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and be capable of working under tight deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Manage selected facility management categories.
  • Monitor outstanding commitments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Administer quotation purchases and issuance of PO.
  • Manage tender purchases and coordinate relevant actions.
  • Engage with Operations teams for added value products.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and process improvement.
  • Gather data for market analysis to support decisions.
  • Resolve issues with suppliers and follow up on claims.

Job description
Job responsibilities
  • Manage selected facility management categories (spend analysis, strategic sourcing, etc…)
  • Monitor outstanding commitments and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Administer quotation purchases which include calling for RFQ and issuance of PO
  • Manage tender purchases such as coordinating and processing of tender requisition, tender evaluation and tender awards.
  • Engage with Operations teams to deliver added value products and services
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous business processes improvement
  • Gather data, market analysis and information of commodities to support plans and decisions
  • Attend to sites' feedbacks and assist in resolving problems with suppliers/contractors, and follow up with claims for non-fulfilment of orders/services
  • Assist Documentation Control and System housekeeping
  • Assist in internal auditors on all procurement related matters so as to implement audit recommendation.
  • Evaluate vendor’s performance
  • Support development and implementation of long term supply chain and supplier strategies
  • Process onboarding of vendors.
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments relating to purchasing functions.
Pre-requisites
  • Advanced analysis skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel program
  • Sound understanding of purchasing principles and its applications
