The successful candidate will enforce company policies, manage supplier relationships, and oversee inventory management. A diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in the marine market. Job description
Responsibilities
  • 5 DAYS WORK WEEK/TRANSPORT PROVIDED FROM BOON LAY MRT
  • · Preparing monthly/weekly plans for the purchase of products from overseas / Local Suppliers.
  • · Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • · Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • · Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • · Preparing weekly costings for all purchase items.
  • · Monitoring slow moving stocks and maintaining a healthy stock level.
  • · Preparing daily quotation for sales department for non-stock items.
  • · Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • · Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts or price and reporting on any non-conforming products to suppliers
  • · Monitoring incoming shipments and liaising with forwarders to ensure shipments arrive on time.
Qualifications
  • DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION / SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGMENT
  • 3 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE MARINE MARKET
  • IMPORT KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERED
  • SELF-MONTIVATED AND ORIENTATED
  • TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
