Job summary

A retail supermarket chain in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee supplier management and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. This role includes responsibilities such as monitoring product performance, coordinating promotions, and regular customer visits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of procurement or demand planning experience.

• Possess valid driving license and own transport preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage allsuppliers & contractedpartners.
• Monitor product sales, margin, mix & range, promotions to achieve pre-set KPIs.
• Manage standing orders, central purchasedordersand direct supplies
• Work with stakeholders to develop customise product mix to achieve higher returns.
• Coordinate to organize onsite-offers/ thematic promotions and publicised offers on press and social media to meet KPIs prescribed by management.
• Source for new leads from source of origin or main principle supply.
• Compile reports and conduct presentations to management and/or panel of stakeholders.
• Visit customers regularly.
• Attend overseas procurement, inspection visits and trade events when required.
• Other tasks as and when assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of procurement or demand planning experience.
• Prior buying/supply experience in the supermarket retail trade will be giving priority
• Possess valid driving license and own transport preferred.
