Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and inventory management. Responsibilities include handling purchase requisitions and coordinating with the finance team. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience in the construction or heavy machinery industry and must be willing to work in the Senoko Drive area. This is a full-time position with a standard five-day work week.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Secondary School/O Level Diploma.
• At least 1 year of working experience in Construction or Heavy Machinery Industry is required.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Senoko Drive Area.

Job description

Job Descriptions: -

1. Responsible for sourcing, comparison, selection and negotiation with existing/potential new suppliers.
2. Handling purchase requisition, quote and issuance of PO.
3. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
4. Assist in inventory management for the spare parts for fleets.
5. Respond to stock inquiries, quotations and orders from maintenance team.
6. Work with other teams, such as planning and production, to meet demand.
7. Maintain stocks record in system & trace stocks when discrepancies are reported.
8. Prepare and present stocks & inventory record / report.

Job Requirements: -

1. Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/"O" Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
2. At least 1 year of working experience in Construction or Heavy Machinery Industry is required for this position.
3. Applicants must be willing to work in Senoko Drive Area.
4. 5 days workweek
