Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our Procurement Department in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement operations. This role will involve coordinating with vendors, maintaining procurement records, and supporting internal departments with purchasing-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant regulations, including the Company’s Act.
  • Support daily procurement operations including acquisitions, order tracking, return status, and related office administrative duties.
  • Help prepare purchase documentation and maintain up-to-date procurement data and filing systems for improved process efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and principals to gather product and service information to assist the sales team under the guidance of the Procurement Executive.
  • Ensure timely processing of all purchasing activities and invoice updates to the Finance Department.
  • Assist the Procurement Executive in preparing purchasing reports and records for Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
  • NITEC/ Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently while supporting a team-based environment.
  • Honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential information.
