Job summary

A polymer solutions company in Singapore is seeking a plant operator capable of operating HDPE plant units. Responsibilities include managing production, optimizing systems, and ensuring safety while handling materials. Candidates should have a diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent, GCE 'O' level, and ideally experience in petrochemicals. This role involves working in rotating shifts and requires physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent.
• GCE 'O' level with credits in English, Science (Physics or Chemistry), and Mathematics is preferred.
• Experience in petrochemicals process manufacturing facility is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned units of HDPE plant to produce on-specification products.
• Operate computer control systems to optimize plant operation.
• Work on a rotating shift (2 cycle).
• Physically fit to handle loads of approximately 25kg if needed.
• Able to work from heights.

Education

Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent

Job description

The Job: -

• To operate assigned units of HDPE plant to produce on-specification products to meet production goals according to plant operations procedures
• To operate the sophisticated computer control system, process logical control, etc. to optimize plant operation
• To work on rotating shift (2 cycle)
• Physically fit to handle load up of approximately 25kg if needed
• Able to work from heights
