Job description

You will be required to perform and undertake all such duties and responsibilities relative to your appointment and to carry out any reasonable instructions or directions as may be conveyed to you. Below are some but not limited to:

• Define manufacturing process as well as estimated data (tooling cost/parts layout/material usage – BILL OF MATERIAL) for new project introductions (RFQs – request for quotes);
• Define and design die-cutting tooling (auto-cad / 2D drawings);
• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation (CAD Drawing, BOM, ECN, Control Plan, Working Instructions, etc);
• Evaluate die-cutting manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency, speed, and cost;
• Support production with trouble‑shooting activities and production delays occurrences (availability);
• Define and promote continuous improvement at operation performance KPIs (Scrap, efficiency, cost, Yield, customer complaints, Audit, etc.);
• Carry out maintenance activities and interventions;
• Find and implement ways to reduce costs and maximize quality;
• Train staff in new and existing processes;
• Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, suppliers, and team members;
• Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations;
• Study/upgrade systems and processes with new technologies;
