Job summary

A leading MEMS technology company in Singapore is looking for a Process Engineer to own and integrate MEMS processes from concept through mass production. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and experience in MEMS and semiconductor process development. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process integration and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in MEMS process, semiconductor process development, or microfabrication R&D is preferred.
  • Preferably possesses strong technical understanding of MEMS technologies and related semiconductor fabrication processes.

Job description
Responsibilities

Own and integrate MEMS processes from concept through mass production for new and existing device development.

Translate MEMS designs into efficient, scalable, and manufacturable process flows.

Drive R&D on new materials, processes, and integration methods to enhance performance, cost, and reliability.

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot front-end and back-end MEMS fabrication processes to improve yield and cycle time.

Collaborate with foundry teamsto qualify and refine key process steps such as DRIE, wafer bonding, and thin-film deposition.

Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions for process and yield issues.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, test, packaging, reliability) to ensure smooth process integration and product quality.

Document and manage process data, support technology roadmaps, new product introduction, and patent or research activities.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related field — Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or Microelectronics.
  • Experience in MEMS process, semiconductor process development, or microfabrication R&D is preferred.
  • Preferably possesses strong technical understanding of MEMS technologies and related semiconductor fabrication processes such as etching, deposition, bonding, and release.
  • Hands‑on expertise with cleanroom tools, metrology, failure analysis, and data analysis (DOE, JMP, Python).
