Job description

Overview

Define, document, and maintain process requirements and equipment specifications. Perform process characterization and optimize machine performance to meet design and quality standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to review and improve internal buy‑off specifications. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment capability and reliability. Support equipment manufacturing and assembly teams by troubleshooting and resolving process‑related issues. Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to address process challenges and provide effective technical solutions. Conduct data analysis using statistical tools such as SPC and DOE; perform process capability and stability studies. Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to in-house engineers and technicians to ensure optimal equipment operation. Calculate UPH (Units Per Hour) projections and analyze cycle time based on process parameters.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Production, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an equipment manufacturing environment (preferably in semiconductor machinery).

Strong background in process design, control, and optimization; experience in die‑sorting, vision inspection, or laser marking is a plus.

Proficient in SPC, DOE, and other statistical analysis methodologies.

Knowledge of cycle time calculation and materials science will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated passion for developing innovative manufacturing processes and equipment applications.
