GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer (NDT Level III) to industrialize, qualify, and sustain NDT processes for gas turbine components.

You will mentor Level I/II NDT technicians and lead audits and tech evaluations to drive performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Industrialize, qualify, and sustain NDT processes (Penetrant, MPI, Ultrasonic, Visual, Eddy Current).
• Lead NDT Level III tasks: procedures, techniques, training, qualification, certification.
• Ensure NDT processes comply with specs, codes, and standards.
• Troubleshoot NDT issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train Level I and II NDT technicians.
• Support process assessments, quality audits, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate inspection technologies to improve capability and productivity.
• Drive SQDC improvements and ensure EHS and quality compliance.

Job Description Summary

The Process Engineer (NDT Level III) is responsible for industrializing, qualifying, and sustaining NDT processes and other assigned special processes for gas turbine component repair. The role supports process compliance, troubleshooting, technician competency, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, reliable, and repeatable inspection processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Industrialize, qualify, and sustain NDT processes including Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Visual, and Eddy Current inspection.


• Perform NDT Level III responsibilities including procedures, techniques, training, qualification, and certification.


• Maintain NDT processes in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, and standards.


• Troubleshoot NDT process and inspection issues and implement corrective actions.


• Implement and qualify other assigned special processes, procedures, and techniques.


• Train and mentor Level I and Level II NDT technicians.


• Support process assessments, quality audits, and corrective actions.


• Evaluate and implement inspection technologies to improve process capability, quality, and productivity.


• Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).


• Ensure full compliance with EHS and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with relevant engineering, manufacturing, or quality experience.


• Current ASNT NDT Level III certification in at least one applicable method such as Ultrasonic, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, or Eddy Current.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or gas turbine component repair.


• Good knowledge of NDT processes, inspection methods, and quality systems.
