PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize process design for offshore oil & gas facilities, including separation, compression, and utility systems
• Prepare and review process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, and design basis
• Perform hydraulic calculations, line sizing, and equipment rating using process simulation software
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (API, ASME, ISO) and meet HSE requirements
• Conduct design reviews, participate in HAZOP/SIL workshops, and support project risk assessments
• Provide technical support to procurement, fabrication, and commissioning teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in process design for offshore/marine projects
• Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of process safety, relief system design, and optimization techniques
• Previous experience in large EPC projects preferred
