Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE. LTD. invites a qualified engineer to define, set up, and maintain probe process recipes and system configurations that govern material flow, tool routing, quality checks, and product disposition.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and automation teams to translate requirements into robust configurations, validate changes, and drive AI-enabled improvements across our probe operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong Perl and/or Python, SQL, and web technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS) with ability to learn new languages quickly.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux) including scripting and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is advantageous.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML techniques is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through teamwork or extra-curricular activities.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to apply digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up, and maintain probe process recipes and system configurations for material flow, tool routing, quality checks, and product disposition.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end process flows across multiple probe tools and operations, ensuring alignment between process intent and system behavior.
• Work with manufacturing teams to translate material process requirements into system logic, configurations, and automation rules.
• Partner with quality teams to define and implement disposition logic, validation checks, and alerts for correct product grading and release.
• Collaborate with Probe Software, Analytics and Automation teams to support system changes, automation deployments, and process-driven enhancements.
• Perform system configuration, validation, and basic troubleshooting to support automation workflows, deployments, and production issues.
• Support system setup and configuration for new devices, process changes, and continuous improvement in probe operations.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, while complying with standards.
• Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.
