Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd. is seeking an AML/KYC onboarding reviewer for the Private Bank KYC Onboarding & Review Team. You will assess client profiles for regulatory compliance and coordinate with RM and assistants to complete onboarding documentation.

The role requires 3–7 years in AML, MAS 626 familiarity, and strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking or equivalent.
ACAMS certification or ICA Diploma preferred.
3–7 years of AML client onboarding experience in Private Banking.
Familiar with MAS 626 or international AML/CFT standards.
Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Review Private Banking clients' account opening AML/KYC profile for adequacy and compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements
Liaise with Relationship Managers (RM) and their Assistants (CAA) to complete the required account opening AML/KYC profile; provide advisory and guidance on AML/KYC requirements
Ensure timely review of clients' AML/KYC account opening profile
Clear system generated account opening alerts or perform name screening as part of AML/KYC profile review
Collaborate with other stake holders in the PB Middle Office to deliver consistent best in class account opening experience to our clients
Proactively identify areas of improvement and suggest viable solutions
Participate in AML related projects as a content provider or a stakeholder
Perform management reporting and data analysis on account opening
Ensure no repeat review findings by Business Compliance, Group Compliance, Internal or External Auditors.
