Job summary

MHA - Singapore Prison Service (SPS) invites applications for the Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) programme, a 2.5-year combined study and paid apprenticeship at ITE College Central. You will work four days a week at the prison while studying one day weekly, receiving the full salary and benefits throughout.

As a Prison Officer, you will help maintain security, support rehabilitation programmes, and interact with offenders to guide their reintegration.

Qualifications

• ITE graduates with Nitec GPA ≥ 2.0 or Higher Nitec.
• Physically fit, suitable for uniformed service; PES B1+ (males) and IPPT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security by following all rules and regulations.
• Conduct routine checks and manage entry/exit points.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents.
• Support rehabilitation programmes and services for offenders.
