Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Principal Specialist, APAC Talent Acquisition to manage the full recruitment lifecycle and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes. This role partners closely with business leaders to provide consultative support and ensure a seamless, value-added recruitment experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for non-operator roles (General Admin & Support, Production, Engineering & Technicians)
  • Responsible for the recruitment lifecycle, from developing and executing hiring strategies to tapping into diverse sourcing channels to screening top talent, guiding interviews, and driving successful offer negotiations
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide expert recommendations on candidate profiles, guiding informed and strategic hiring decisions
  • Utilise creative sourcing techniques—including LinkedIn, social media platforms, and referral programs—to attract top talent, post job openings, identify candidates, and maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities
  • Review and evaluate resumes and credentials to ensure candidates’ skills, experience, and knowledge align with role requirements and business objectives
  • Apply behavioral interviewing techniques to screen and interview candidates, and provide informed recommendations to support selection decisions
  • Manage the job offer process, including internal salary benchmarking and perform reference checks when required
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR business partners and other HR COE teams and organizational leaders to ensure alignment and collaboration on talent strategies
  • Ensure that stakeholders, including candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners are regularly informed of hiring progress and status updates
  • Lead and participate in projects/programs as assigned, and support continuous improvement efforts where required
Other Responsibilities
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Prior working experience in an engineering/manufacturing/semiconductor environment preferred
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Workday
  • High-volume recruitment experience and audit processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Discreet in handling confidential information
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices
