Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering in large-scale product systems.
• Experience defining multi-year technical roadmaps across multiple teams.
• Experience resolving systemic technical problems across systems.
• Influence on technical strategy across engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-year technical vision and architecture for critical product systems, ensuring designs are reliable, extensible, and scalable across Meta's global infrastructure
• Identify and lead transformative engineering initiatives to improve product quality, performance, or developer efficiency
• Establish extensible technical foundations and coding standards across multiple engineering organizations
• Develop and champion AI-native engineering workflows to accelerate cross-disciplinary teams
• Diagnose and resolve complex systemic problems spanning multiple systems and layers
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and operations to align priorities and drive execution
• Mentor engineers with candid technical guidance and decision-making frameworks
• Define metrics and data-driven principles for long-term cross-team projects
• Influence technical design in adjacent areas and ensure cohesion across interfaces
• Lead programs and improvements for reliability, privacy, security, and quality across the engineering community
