Role Overview

The Principal/Senior Psychologist will manage complex psychological cases, provide clinical supervision, and lead the integration of mental health services within primary care. This role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to destigmatize mental health and enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for complex cases
  • Shape the future of mental healthcare by developing integrated psychological services in primary care settings, making quality mental health support more accessible to the community
  • Conduct psychological education and skills training for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to interprofessional training programmes and staff development
  • Engage in service planning and development of new programmes
Requirements
  • Masters in Psychology (Clinical) or MPsychPhD or PhD/MA/MScPGDipClPs
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant clinical experience
