What You’ll Do:

• Plan transmission network expansion / developments and HVDC system to meet area load growth and generation.
• Provide consultation to large customers, agencies, EMA, gencos and others for supply to large developments and other connections at 66kV voltage and above.
• Plan and design network connection and associated supply network for large customers taking supply at 66kV voltage and above.
• Plan and design generation connection for Gencos.
• Plan network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and maximized network utilization.
• Prepare Agreements with customers, Gencos and others etc.
• Prepare project proposals and preparation of project paper for seeking EMA and management approval.
• Planning of cable route for projects and connectivity to substations and customers / gencos.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Experience in planning / operation of transmission network or design of a distribution network is preferred.
• Preferably with 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred to have experience in working with agencies, and knowledge in cable route planning and installation work.
