Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore invites applications for a role responsible for project management and maintenance of 24/7 mission-critical communications systems.

You will deliver, maintain and improve communications systems in line with ICAO and ITU standards and industry best practices; you will collaborate with operational users, in-house developers, equipment suppliers, contractors, and public service agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong systems, network and cybersecurity background is preferred.
• Interest in radiocommunication technologies and international regulations is important.
• Self-motivated, strong team player with ability to work at all levels of the organisation, plus good analytical, writing and presentation skills.

[What the role is]

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's raison d'etre is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding Singapore's links to the rest of the world. We enable opportunities through aviation, making connections, opening doors and enabling choices in people's lives.

You will become part of the team responsible for project management and maintenance of our 24/7 mission-critical communications systems. Your role will include delivering and maintaining communications systems in compliance with international standards, such as those set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU), as well as adhering to best practices. Additionally, you will work to enhance both software and hardware components of existing communications systems.

As part of your responsibilities, you are required to collaborate closely with a range of stakeholders, including operational users, in-house development teams, equipment suppliers, contractors, as well as external parties from Singapore Public Service agencies and international counterparts.
