Job description
Overview

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing advanced cardiorespiratory services to patients in the intensive care units and general wards. This includes initiating and titrating assisted ventilation, maintaining a range of ventilatory modes and ventilators, as well as performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing support in airway procedures.You will provide quality caregivers’ training and develop educational programmes for healthcare professionals. In addition, you will coach, mentor and supervise staff. You will also review the department’s procedures, workflows and policies for quality improvement.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy with at least 6 years’ relevant experience in large reputable hospitals and/or intensive care units
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to promoting a positive work culture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and passionate about delivering quality patient care
  • Candidates with supervisory experiencewill have an advantage
