NCS is seeking a Principal Project Director (Technical Project Manager) to lead the end-to-end delivery of a centralized AI platform across APAC. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) leads the implementation of the Central AI Platform, the enterprise foundation enabling AI, LLM, and Multi-Agent capabilities across business units. This role is responsible for driving structured delivery of platform components including Model & Inference Gateway, Shared Agent Runtime, Shared RAG Service, Developer Portal, ML Training Plane, and Ops & Security framework — ensuring execution is on schedule, within scope, and aligned with enterprise governance standards. You will lead end-to-end delivery of a strategic enterprise AI platform while coordinating cross-functional engineering, architecture, security, vendor, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality implementation.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
Drive execution of MVP within the 90-day timeline and manage subsequent phased rollouts.
Track progress across multiple workstreams (gateway, runtime, RAG, training plane, developer portal, ops/security, integration, vendor solutions).
Manage interdependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
Partner with engineering, architects, security, and Value Pool teams to align requirements and deliverables.
Coordinate external vendors, hyperscaler partners, and open-source integrations.
Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and technical workshops.
Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical execution.
Understand core AI platform components and translate technical requirements into structured project tasks.
Review architecture and design decisions to confirm scope alignment.
Support implementation of project tooling including CI/CD pipelines, dashboards, observability, and security gates.
Maintain RAID logs, dashboards, and executive status reporting.
Provide clear leadership updates on scope, delivery progress, blockers, and risk mitigation.
Embed AI Safety, Responsible AI, and enterprise security compliance checkpoints into the delivery lifecycle.
Support onboarding of pilot business unit use cases to shared platform services.
Coordinate documentation, training materials, and developer portal content.
Drive early adoption success and stakeholder satisfaction.
5–8 years of experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in enterprise IT, cloud, or AI/ML projects
Proven track record delivering platform or infrastructure projects involving multi-team coordination
Strong project planning and execution discipline (Agile / Scrum / Hybrid methodologies)
Solid technical understanding of cloud and AI platforms to effectively engage engineers and architects
Familiarity with Kubernetes, MLOps, vector databases, LLMOps, cloud services, and enterprise security practices
Experience working in telco, large enterprise, or regulated industries preferred
Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor coordination skills
Strong risk management and issue resolution capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
