Job summary

Synapxe in Singapore is seeking a Mobile Security leader to shape the enterprise threat defense program. You will define roadmaps, govern mobile security standards, and integrate MTD with identity, SIEM, and endpoint tooling to protect mobility.

You will lead a team of mobile security engineers, drive security-by-design for mobility services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to reduce risk and improve detection and response across devices and apps.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise Mobile Threat Defense roadmap.
• Develop mobile security standard operating procedures, baselines, and technical controls.
• Establish mobility security governance frameworks aligned with risk appetite and policies.
• Drive adoption of security-by-design principles for mobility services.
• Evaluate emerging mobile threats, technologies, and security solutions.
• Lead deployment, configuration, and optimization of Mobile Threat Defense platforms.
• Design and maintain integrations between MTD, MDM/UEM, Identity Providers, SIEM/SOAR, and security tooling.
• Define threat detection use cases and monitoring requirements with the threat detection team.
• Develop automated response and remediation workflows.
• Ensure effective mobile security telemetry collection and visibility.
• Lead enterprise capabilities including malware protection, app reputation analysis, root/jailbreak detection, network threat detection, unsafe Wi‑Fi detection, and vulnerability management.
• Establish mobile app vetting processes and assess app security before deployment.
• Collaborate with AppSec and App teams on vulnerabilities and threat management.
• Support mobile application threat modelling and security reviews.
• Assist with investigations involving mobile-related security incidents and with playbooks for detection and response.
• Partner with SOC and Incident Response teams to operationalize mobile threat intelligence.
• Integrate MTD solutions with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, SIEM platforms, NAC, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mobile security engineers.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate technologies and present security risks and recommendations.
