Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and carry out the design, analysis, and assessment of civil, infrastructure, and geotechnical works, including ground improvement, foundations, excavations, retaining structures, slopes, instrumentation, and site investigations.
• Prepare project proposals, technical specifications, and design documentation for tender, regulatory submissions, and construction.
• Plan, design, coordinate, and supervise civil, infrastructure, and geotechnical design and site activities.
• Ensure engineering works are compliant with relevant statutory requirements, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
• Liaise effectively with clients, project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Support the Team Leader in maintaining high standards of design and supervision and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related numerical discipline.
• More than 15 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector.
• Strong technical foundation in transport engineering, including design, planning, and/or modelling.
• Familiarity with international and Singapore infrastructure and transport design standards.
• Proficiency in transport modelling tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, SIDRA, or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred.
• Proven experience in project management and staff supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
