Job summary

A leading construction recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced candidate to lead the site supervision team for Electrical and Building Construction works. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience supervising electrical works, preferably in Oil & Gas or Power Plant projects. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential, as well as the ability to interpret electrical drawings and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising electrical works in construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Solid technical knowledge in field instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team for all Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Support the Construction Manager with electrical site inspection issues.
• Attend site and project-related meetings with clients and/or Contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team for all Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Support the Construction Manager in handling electrical site inspection issues, contract-related matters, defect identification, and supervision of construction activities.
• Review and respond to Contractors’ RFIs and technical submittals. Assess method statements, instrumentation readings, and coordinate with other discipline engineers as well as the design team.
• Attend site and project-related meetings with clients and/or Contractors, leading technical and work progress discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising electrical works in construction, ideally within Oil & Gas or Power Plant projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
• Solid technical knowledge in field instrumentation, electrical systems, control systems, and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving issues.
