Principal Analyst, Machine learning, Group Finance Analytics

We are seeking a Principal Analyst to support our drive towards value creation and strategic decision-making through innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. You will build prototypes and scalable solutions, develop machine learning models, robotic process automation and visualisation platforms that enable data-driven insights for better patient outcomes and financial sustainability.

You will establish data analytics support for clinical and financial initiatives including value-based care, choosing wisely programmes, patient reported outcome measures, capitation payment models, population health management and Electronic Health Records (EHR) integration, whilst providing technical advisory to analysts.

You will lead commissioned data analytics projects to deliver insights and recommendations, collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional health stakeholders, provide training on analytics tools to institutional teams, and assist with additional projects as assigned to advance the cluster's healthcare transformation objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or other quantitative disciplines, with preferably at least 5 years of technical experience and 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in the healthcare or finance industry is preferred
  • Strong theoretical understanding of financial/statistical modelling, machine learning, data mining and related techniques
  • Technical experience with data wrangling, data preparation and building visualisation dashboards with Tableau/Qlik Sense/Power BI
  • Proficiency in UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate and other Artificial Intelligence automation applications
  • Experience with OpenAI, Databricks will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment
