Job summary

The Talent People Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Prime Mover Operator (Container Trucking Master) to move containers within the PSA terminal. Training is provided and candidates with a Class 3A licence who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

The role involves operating prime movers, performing safety checks, complying with PSA rules, mounting/dismounting containers, and ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Training bond is applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class 3A driving licence (Class 3 or 4 also accepted).
• PSLE with pass in English or equivalent.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 22 workdays per month on rotating 12-hour shifts (7:30 AM/PM start).
• Physically able to mount/dismount vehicles and perform vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate prime mover vehicles to transport containers within PSA terminal.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle checks.
• Comply with PSA traffic and safety rules and SOPs.
• Mount and dismount containers safely.
• Communicate with control centre and other ops teams.
• Record container movements using on-board PC system.
• Refuel and prepare vehicle for shift handover.
• Ensure containers are loaded and secured before moving.
• Verify container numbers and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report damages.
