Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 or Class 5 driving licence is required.
• Experience operating a prime mover and trailer, preferably in construction or logistics.
• Knowledge of road safety and cargo securing practices.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections.
• Strong communication and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a prime mover and trailer to transport materials between the factory and project sites.
• Ensure materials are loaded, secured, and unloaded safely.
• Comply with traffic laws, policies, and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Coordinate with site personnel and dispatch for delivery schedules and unloading locations.
• Maintain delivery records and transport documentation.
• Keep vehicle and trailer clean and roadworthy.
• Report incidents, delays, or issues to supervisor promptly.
