Job summary

Eng Kong Container Agencies (Pte) Ltd seeks a Prime Mover Driver to operate truck movements between PSA/Jurong Port and yards. You will perform pre-trip checks and report any faults for timely rectifications, ensuring roadworthiness and safe deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class 4/5 license and PSA pass eligibility, with at least 1 year of Prime Mover experience. Training is provided, and sponsorship may be available for candidates pursuing PSA SPMD courses.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class 4/5 driving license.
• Eligible for PSA pass.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Prime Mover Driver.
• Familiar with Singapore roads/PSA.
• Candidates with both PSA and depot trucking experience have added advantage.
• On-the-Job training provided.
• May sponsor those who have not yet passed PSA SPMD safety course (T&C applied).

Responsibilities

• Perform container trucking duties from PSA/Jurong Port to container yards/depots, or vice versa.
• Carry out daily routine checks to ensure vehicle's road worthiness before use.
• Maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to the supervisor for rectifications.

Skills
