Job summary

ENG KONG CONTAINER AGENCIES (PTE) LTD in Singapore is hiring for a Prime Mover Driver to transport containers and ensure timely delivery/collection while adhering to PSA/Jurong Port requirements. The role requires a valid Class 4/5 license, PSA Safety Prime Mover course, a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Training (OJT) is provided, and transport from Boon Lay MRT is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4/5 driving license.
• Good and clean driving record.
• Must have PSA Safety Prime mover course (SPMD).
• Eligible for PSA Pass.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Prime Mover Driver experience in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Transport containers and handle delivery/collection timely and safely.
• Follow Singapore traffic regulations and PSA/Jurong Port requirements.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks for road-worthiness and report faults promptly.

Job description

SALARY UP TO $5,000

Job Responsibilities

• Transportation of Containers
• Handle container delivery and collection timely, accurately, with care and safety.
• Follow Singapore traffic regulations and PSA/Jurong Port requirements.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle's road worthiness before use and maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to the supervisor for rectifications.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Class 4/5 driving license.
• Good and clean driving record.
• Must passed PSA Safety Prime mover course (SPMD)
• Eligible for PSA Pass
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Prime Mover Driver in Singapore.
• Familiar with Singapore roads/PSA
• Candidates who have both outside container depot trucking and inside PSA experience (IGH) will be an added advantage.
• Candidate with only IGH experience, OJT will be provided.
