Overview

Location: Somerset (Nearest MRT)

Responsibilities

• Provide various experience and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
• Establish routines, provide positive guidance and build children's esteem
• Conducting of lessons according to centre's curriculum
• Monitoring learning progress of students
• Building good rapport with parents, staff and students
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable
• Guide, motivate and monitor Assistant Teacher/Classroom helpers in carrying out their tasks
• Follow assigned work shift patterns of the centre.
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Able to converse in Japanese to communicate with Japanese speaking students and parents
• Experience in teaching the Japanese Language Levels (Elementary to Intermediate) is preferred
• Demonstrate Independence and creatively minded, ready to innovate and adapt in any circumstance
• Can be team-oriented, passionate, enthusiastic, and creative in your approach to teaching children
• Have a strong sense of professionalism, and are self-motivated
