Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of early childhood teachers in providing quality education, holistic development, and care for the children
- Facilitate proactive and positive engagement with parents and the community
- Communicate with parents effectively, and build rapport and trusted relationships with parents
- Responsible for all government-related matters such as ECDA including renewing and maintaining license
- Responsible for the child care centre’s Profit and Loss to fulfil its objective
- Handle administrative work to meet the compliance and regulatory requirement for the centre’s operation
- Set educational standards and goals and help establish policies, procedures and programmes to carry them out
- Proactively review current policies, procedures and programmes and identify ways to improve the overall standard of the preschools and future preschools which will be acquired by the Group
- Actively promote the enrolment of students in the preschools
- Any other duties related to the services offered by the Company that are not mentioned above
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or higher
- Must have DPL / DECCE-L (Leadership)
- Possess Excellent communication and Classroom management skills
- Must be familiar with ECDA Guidelines & Requirements
- Being familiar with SPARKS will be a huge plus
- Possess at least 3 years in teaching experience in a childcare centre with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Spark experience preferred and track record of handling a centre of more than 150 capacity advantegeous.
