Job summary

MUSE ARTS in Singapore is looking for passionate individuals to teach preschoolers in Performing Arts. The role requires engaging with children under 6 years old through music, drama, and movement. Intensive training will be provided, ensuring candidates are well-equipped to foster creativity in young learners.

Applicants must be fluent in English, able to sing in pitch, and dramatic in their teaching approach. A strong background in Performing Arts is essential.

Qualifications

• MUST sing in pitch.

• Ability to dramatize instructions.

Established in 2012, Muse Arts is a Performing Arts enrichment company that specialized in providing the preschoolers the chance to be exposed to professional performing arts education. The main objective is to expose them to the different genre of Arts form and provide their parents an opportunity to see what their child is interested in!

Job Requirements: (Nothing is cast in stone. We will craft a position to suit your strength and weakness. But the requirement highlighted (*) is compulsory as this job will be a drag if you do not meet these requirement.)

*MUST sing in pitch

*MUST have a strong passion in teaching Preschoolers (Very different from children in Primary school and above)

*MUST be able to dramatize your instructions to engage the preschoolers' attention

*MUST be fluent in spoken English

• Knowledge in Musical Instruments will be an added advantage.
• Have an open mind and be receptive to learning
• Good team player and foster good workplace relations.
• Certification / Strong portfolio in the respective Performing Arts field
• Proactive in going over and above to ensure lesson plan suits majority of the children
• Strong determination to ensure every child learns and understand the lesson objective of each lesson

You will need to take 2 or 3 of the programmes we offer (Music & Movement / Specialized Musical Instrument [Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele] / Speech & Drama [Musical])

Intensive Training will be provided and candidates will have to go through tests and reviews before being confirmed as a Main Instructor.
