Overview

Established in 2012, Muse Arts is a Performing Arts enrichment company that specialized in providing preschoolers the chance to be exposed to professional performing arts education. The main objective is to expose them to the different genre of arts forms and provide their parents an opportunity to see what their child is interested in!

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching preschoolers (below 6 years old) to become the next generation of performing artists. If you love teaching preschoolers and are excited to bring energy and creativity to the classroom, WE WANT YOU!

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging performing arts instruction to preschoolers (below 6 years old).
• Demonstrate ability to dramatize instructions to capture and maintain children’s attention.
• Contribute to lesson planning to ensure activities meet learning objectives and suit the majority of children.
• participate in training programs and apply learnings to teaching practice.

Job Requirements

• MUST be able to work on both weekends
• MUST sing in pitch
• MUST have experience teaching preschoolers
• MUST have experience in at least 1 musical instrument
• MUST be fluent in spoken English
• Certification / Strong portfolio in the respective Performing Arts field.
• Proactive in going over and above to ensure lesson plans suit the majority of the children.
• Strong determination to ensure every child learns and understands the lesson objective of each lesson.
• You will need to take 2 or 3 of the programmes we offer (Music & Movement / Specialized Musical Instrument [Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele] / Speech & Drama [Musical]).
• Intensive Training will be provided and candidates will have to go through tests and reviews before being confirmed as a Main Instructor.

Working Schedule

• 2 weekdays & 2 weekends
• 9am to 6pm or 12pm to 7pm
