EtonHouse International Education Group is seeking a qualified Japanese language teacher to educate Japanese and expatriate children. The role includes curriculum development in collaboration with the Japanese Co-ordinator and active parental communication to strengthen home-school links.

The position also covers translating and creating promotional materials in Japanese, supporting outreach to the Japanese community, and occasionally teaching music as per the timetable.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Kindergarten Teaching/Early Childhood or Japanese Teacher Certificate or Kindergarten Teacher’s Class 2 License (Japan) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team.

Responsabilités

• Teach Japanese language to Japanese and expatriate children as required.
• Assist in developing a Japanese curriculum with the Japanese Co-ordinator.
• Assist in parent communication (Home-School links) as required.
• Translate and design promotional materials in Japanese if needed.
• Support school promotion to reach the Japanese community through parental liaison and inquiries.
• Conduct music classes as timetabled for Japanese timetable.
• Perform other duties as required by the Pre-School Director and Executive Principal.
