Job summary

An early childhood education center in Singapore is seeking Preschool Teachers. Responsibilities include planning educational programs, reviewing learning plans, and creating engaging classroom environments. Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Curriculum Planning may be considered for the Curriculum Specialist position.

  • Plan the programme for the class according to the centre's pedagogy.
  • Review teaching and learning plans to meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Plan observation of children and prepare a portfolio as part of summative assessment.
  • Customise classroom management strategies focusing on positive guidance.
  • Guide assistant teachers in engaging children.
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Design quality learning environment with appropriate materials.
  • Evaluate documentation of children's learning to inform planning.
  • Identify potential teaching methods and assistive technology.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with families.
  • Develop outreach activities to promote Centre programmes.

  • Candidates MUST possess at least a Diploma in Early Childhood and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T).ACEY or L1 for lower classes.

  • At least 2years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Those with minimum Degree in ECCE, at least 8 years’ experience in Curriculum Planning may be considered for the Curriculum Specialist position.
