About the Role

MapleBear is seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool English Teacher to join our early childhood team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate English lessons that support children’s language development, confidence, and love for learning in a warm and nurturing preschool environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality English lessons aligned with MapleBear’s curriculum and ECDA guidelines.
• Create a warm, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports active learning and social‑emotional development.
• Design and implement age‑appropriate teaching materials and activities to develop literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Use storytelling, songs, role play, games, and hands‑on activities to make learning meaningful and engaging.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and the teaching team.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to support the holistic development of every child.
• Maintain classroom safety, routines, and hygiene standards in compliance with ECDA regulations and centre policies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting.
• L2 Certification
• Strong proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners.
• Patient, creative, and energetic, with the ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
