A community-focused educational organization in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Teacher to create a secure learning environment for children aged 2 months to 6 years. The ideal candidate will implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, build trusting relationships with children and families, and participate actively in collaborative community projects. Qualifications include a Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care and Education Certificate. The role emphasizes holistic development and continuous professional growth.
The Assistant Teacher creates a secure and quality learning environment for children through fostering meaningful relationships with them. He/she supports the holistic development of children through implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum, and nurturing trusting and respectful relationships with children. The Assistant Teacher is intentional in building partnerships with parents and families, and actively engages in centre initiatives to support its collaborative efforts with the community. He/she works closely with colleagues and contributes to a culture of collaboration and collegiality. As an early childhood educator, the Assistant Teacher engages in continuous learning and reflective practice.
