About the Role:

Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join our team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role combines hands‑on cybersecurity work with pre‑sales consultation.

You will be responsible for securing and managing our cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and confidently engaging with clients on cybersecurity matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a pre‑sales cybersecurity consultant, confidently addressing client inquiries and presenting solutions during sales/RFP processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS experience also considered).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and proactive monitoring of environments to detect and mitigate security threats.
• Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, NIST gap assessments, SOC2, and other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide accurate and compliant responses to cybersecurity questions in RFPs.
• Maintain and optimize production, test, and development environments to ensure security, performance, and availability.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices, emerging threats, and cybersecurity standards.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, architecture, or security roles preferred, but open to slightly more junior candidates with hands‑on experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in cloud security, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, with strong focus on vulnerability assessment (VA) and penetration testing (VAPT).
• Experience in cloud security design and implementation (Azure preferred; AWS also acceptable).
• Experience with cybersecurity compliance and certifications (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST) is a plus.
• Strong pre‑sales or client‑facing experience, preferably from Big 4 firms or system integrator's, able to confidently articulate cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
