Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer needs and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
- Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including solution design, security reviews, and integration discussions.
- Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and pilot implementations to showcase product capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, addressing questions around architecture, APIs, data security, and scalability.
- Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to help guide roadmap decisions.
- Create and maintain reusable sales assets such as demo environments, solution diagrams, and technical FAQs.
- Occasionally support RFP/RFI responses with technical input.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, and tools to streamline the implementation and delivery process.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to ensure continued satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional value or upsell.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related technical customer-facing role, ideally in an early stage product company
- Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and web applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript), systems (Salesforce), or BI tools will be an advantage.
