Job summary

Xtremax seeks an accomplished Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate business needs into architectures, and guide development teams through IaC, automation, and best practices in cloud platforms.

You will drive MVP/POC implementations, mentor engineers, and ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across AWS, GCP, Azure or multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in one or more areas of the IT industry
• Experience building complex solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or any other cloud provider
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Computer Engineering; Information Technology is preferred
• Solid understanding of containers and serverless architecture
• Experience designing relational or non-relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Experience with agile approaches and experience in DevOps or DevSecOps
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tool
• Good communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and translate them into architecture and design blueprints focused on cloud-native approaches
• Introduce a forward-thinking technical vision for cloud-based solutions emphasizing IaC, automation, and scripting
• Develop technical solutions leveraging cloud services ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Analyze business and technical challenges to design optimal cloud solutions
• Provide specifications for cloud-based solutions incorporating IaC and automation
• Lead MVP and POC implementations on cloud platforms to demonstrate feasibility and value
• Mentor development teams fostering innovation and continuous improvement in cloud practices
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues leveraging automation to minimize downtime
• Use cloud-native services for monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive management
• Drive automation across cloud infrastructure using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM to provision resources
• Incorporate security and compliance best practices in cloud solutions
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and DevOps trends
