Qualifications

  • Preferably degree holder with 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience and outstanding track record in sales and marketing of financial products.
  • Experience in handling high net-worth clients will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven individual with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Relevant financial certifications (CLI/ILP/FNA/HI or CMFAS) are a pre-requisite.

Job description
Job Purpose
  • Responsible to Grow, manage and preserve clients' wealth through optimization of the risk, return and liquidity and work to ensure clients' financial and investment objectives are met.
  • Provide unbiased advice in managing and growing their wealth
  • Maintain a high standard of service quality and compliance
  • Growing Premier customers base through upgrading of existing bank’s customers and acquiring New-to-Bank customers.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Promotes a high level of sales and service performance and productivity in PW segment
    • Work closely with the branch to achieve strong Premier sales and service performances.
    • Manage pool of Premier clients, to grow, manage and preserve clients' wealth through optimization of the risk, return and liquidity and work to ensure clients' financial and investment objectives are met
    • Execute Premier marketing campaign and initiatives to enhance segment’s sales performance and acquire/upgrade new & existing high net worth customers onto Premier platform.
    • Provide need-base financial advice to Premier clients and only to recommend shortlisted/approved house’s products to clients to achieve their financial objectives.
    • Raise issues/feedback with reference to product development, marketing campaigns, system and sales advisory process to provide the desired support to the business channels.
    • Follow up on assigned referral leads
  2. Manages the PW Client Service Levels
    • Ensure consistent service standards are adhered to at all times.
    • Ensure clients’ queries, referrals and complaints are handle within stipulated SLA
    • Ensure regular contact with their Premier clients to maintain and enhance relationship.
  3. Build and develop relationships for the purpose of client conversion, referrals and acquisition
    • Enhance and expand on existing customer relationship by increasing revenue per customer and product holdings through anticipating needs, active referrals, cross-sell various products and services to Premier clients with unbiased advice in managing and growing their wealth
    • Promote cross sector referral i.e Regional Wealth Management, Introduce Maybank affiliate i.e MKE.
  4. Risk Management
    • Conduct compliance activities such as KYC, ECDD to effectively manage the overall risk to the bank.
    • Execute client’s instruction/trade accurately and timely.
Job Requirement
  • Preferably degree holder with 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience and outstanding track record in sales and marketing of financial products
  • Experience in handling high net-worth clients (on-shore / off-shore) will be an added advantage
  • A self motivated, customer centric and performance driven individual who operates with minimal supervision
  • A team player with well developed interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • CLI/ILP/FNA/HI or CMFAS Module 1B,5,6,6A,8,9 is a pre-requisite; those with AWP/CFP will be considered favourably
  • Experience in banking sector and able to work with people at different level and units.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills individual who do not give up on setbacks.
