Job summary

Moreton Capital Partners is seeking a Trader to manage a live prediction market book across Polymarket and Kalshi. You will develop and own strategies, run live P&L, and collaborate with quant analysts and engineers to refine edge.

We welcome proven practitioners and self-directed candidates who have built models in their own time. You will monitor positions, backtest models, and contribute to research with a focus on execution, risk controls, and edge discovery in high-volume event-driven

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience trading on Polymarket and/or Kalshi, via personal accounts or professional roles.
• Strong Python skills: pandas, NumPy, backtesting frameworks, and API integrations built from scratch.
• Solid foundation in probability, statistics, time-series analysis, and Bayesian inference.
• Genuine engagement with the prediction markets ecosystem with concrete observations and resolutions.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent demonstrated ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage live positions across Polymarket and Kalshi throughout the trading day.
• Execute strategies including market making, order-flow and book imbalance exploitation, pricing arbitrage, and momentum-based trades.
• Build and backtest quantitative models using historical tick data, Bayesian methods, and NLP parsing.
• Collaborate with engineering on execution infrastructure, API integrations, and monitoring.
• Maintain post-trade analysis: attribution, model performance, and slippage.
• Contribute ideas to MCP's broader research agenda on agentic AI and multi-signal frameworks.
