Job summary

At NTS Singapore, a TIG Welder will specialize in stainless and carbon steel sheet-metal fabrication and welded assemblies, delivering high-quality welds that meet engineering, dimensional, and cosmetic standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on TIG welding experience in stainless and carbon steel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience with thin sheet-metal TIG welding preferred.
• Readiness to maintain quality, dimensional accuracy, and cosmetic standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium components.
• Read and interpret drawings, welding symbols, dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up welding equipment, select parameters, joints and sequences.
• Prepare, fit, align, clamp and tack components to maintain accuracy.
• Control heat input and welding sequence to meet standards; inspect for defects.
