Job summary

JEP Precision Engineering in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to perform visual and dimensional checks on manufactured parts, following engineering drawings and work instructions.

You will use vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensions, record results, and report non-conforming parts, while maintaining a clean inspection area and adhering to 5S and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Able to use basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Good eyesight and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and manual inspection of parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Use basic measuring instruments to inspect parts.
• Check product dimensions and appearance to meet specifications.
• Record inspection results and report any non-conforming parts to the supervisor.
• Ensure measuring instruments are in good condition before use.
• Maintain cleanliness of the inspection area and follow 5S practices.
• Follow company quality and safety procedures.
