Job summary

MERRIES EMPLOYMENT LLP is seeking a QC/Inspection specialist in Singapore to perform daily in-process and outgoing quality inspections and audits. You will identify defects, raise NCMR when needed, and operate precision measuring tools to ensure shipments meet quality requirements.

The role requires GMP familiarity, adherence to 5S and documented records. Detail-oriented candidates with basic Excel skills will succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level or equivalent is required.
• QC or manufacturing inspection experience is preferred.
• Familiar with CMM, Smart Scope, calipers, micrometres and dial indicators.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills and ability to follow quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily in-process and outgoing quality inspections.
• Identify defects and raise NCMR when required.
• Conduct product audits before shipment.
• Operate measuring and inspection equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
• Accept or reject products based on quality requirements.
• Stop production or hold shipments when serious quality issues are found.
• Follow GMP, quality procedures, 5S and work instructions.
