AMPHENOL FCI CONNECTORS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections of materials and finished products, using vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges. You will record results, flag non-conformances and support CAPA actions.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in manufacturing quality, ability to read drawings and tolerances, and familiarity with quality tools. Fresh graduates may be considered for this role at our Singapore site.

Qualifications

NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, Quality Engineering or related.
1–2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing preferred; fresh graduates considered.
Able to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Familiar with basic quality tools and measuring instruments; ISO 9001/IATF 16949/SPC/MSA/8D a plus.
Good computer skills and documentation practices; detail-oriented and independent.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of raw materials, components and finished products.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges and other instruments.
Record inspection results and maintain quality records and documentation.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials to prevent use or shipment.
Raise non-conformance reports and assist in root-cause analysis and CAPA.
Support engineers in corrective actions and process improvements.
Monitor processes for abnormalities and recurring defects.
Assist in product testing, sample prep and measurement-system verification.
Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated.
Support audits and continuous-improvement initiatives.
