Job summary

A leading concrete products company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to produce precast shop drawings for HDB projects. This role involves utilizing BIM software like Tekla to develop detailed 3D models of concrete elements based on engineer drawings. Candidates must have a diploma in civil structural engineering and be proficient in Tekla and AutoCAD, with great communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE graduate in civil structural engineering.
• Familiar with utilizing BIM software to develop 3D models.
• Well versed in Tekla and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produce precast shop drawing on components for HDB projects.
• Understand architect and structural drawings for precast manufacturing.
• Coordinate with other drafters to ensure correct shop drawings.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible in producing precast shop drawing on component for HDB projects.
• Preferably familiar with utilizing BIM software (e.g Revit, Tekla Structures) to develop detailed 3D models of precast concrete elements, including walls, beams, columns, slabs, and connections, based on architectural and engineering drawings.
• To understand architect and structural drawings and generate model/shop drawings for precast manufacturing and fabrication
• Raise RFI when discrepancies are found in consultant drawings
• Make revisions and update shop drawing based on comments and feedback
• Issue shop drawing to production team
• Coordinate with other drafter/modeller to ensure the model/shop drawing are correct
• Develop standardized models for precast components

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITE graduate in civil structural engineering
• Well verse in Tekla software for modelling purposes
• Well verse in AutoCAD
• Well verse in English (Communication & Written)
