Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to collaborate with sales and product teams, deliver Proof-of-Concept sessions, and provide technical support. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in IT Security, with hands-on experience in firewalls and networking protocols. Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks solutions is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Security, preferably in a pre-sales or solution consultant capacity.
• Strong understanding of Security Architecture, OSI & TCP/IP models.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and related security technologies.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to align technical solutions with business needs
• Lead and deliver Proof-of-Concept (POC) sessions to demonstrate product capabilities, especially in Palo Alto Networks security solutions
• Prepare tailored technical proposals and solution architecture documents
• Conduct engaging presentations, workshops, and demos for clients and partners
• Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support throughout the solution lifecycle
• Stay updated with emerging security technologies and trends to recommend relevant solutions
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and solution development initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team

🎓 Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Security, preferably in a pre-sales or solution consultant capacity
• Strong understanding of Security Architecture, OSI & TCP/IP models, and networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and related security technologies
• Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks solutions is highly desirable
