Job summary

Upcycle Communications is seeking a highly motivated Associate Account Manager / Account Manager to join our dynamic PR team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will bring agency PR experience, a solid rolodex of media and influencer contacts, and a track record of leading teams to deliver results.

This core role focuses on media and influencer relations, day-to-day client contact, and supporting junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in public relations, social media marketing, or communications, ideally agency side in Singapore.
• Existing network of relationships with media and influencers.
• Excellent English communication both verbally and in writing.
• A Singaporean or PR.
• Able to juggle multiple clients and projects, sometimes with conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage upwards and downwards effectively, flag issues to your line manager with proposed solutions.
• Coordinate regular internal and client meetings and ensure agendas are shared.
• Oversee workloads of junior team members and foster open communication within the team.
• Maintain client relationships through daily contact and proactive management.
• Build and maintain a network of local and regional media and influencer contacts, including high-level editors and prestige titles.
