Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an Asia Pacific Technical Support Engineer. Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of semiconductor wafer test probe systems, providing customer training, and ensuring equipment functionality. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and strong problem-solving skills. This role requires travel across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications

  • Possess good mechanical or electrical system maintenance knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in EE or EEE or Polytechnic graduate in Mechanical or Electrical studies.

Responsibilities

  • Install, debug and calibrate semiconductor wafer test probe systems at customer sites.
  • Service and maintain probe systems, including repair of equipment parts.
  • Interact with customers on training and technical questions.

Job description
Position : Asia Pacific Technical Support Engineer

Key responsibilities include:

  • Install, debug and calibrate semiconductor wafer test probe systems at customer sites.
  • Service and maintain probe systems including repair of equipment parts, adjustment of equipment parameter accuracy, calibration, performing software updates of test probe system and managing equipment parts inventory.
  • Interact with customer on training of test probe systems, answering technical questions and completing system acceptance. Perform periodic check with customer to collect feedback on machine usage.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation or maintenance of test probe systems across Singapore and Asia Pacific region.

Key skills/qualifications:

  • Possess good mechanical or electrical system maintenance knowledge.
  • Familiar with semiconductor testing and devices.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor degree in EE or EEE or Polytechnic graduate in Mechanical or Electrical studies.
